Roman Africa; an outline of the history of the Roman occupation of North Africa, based chiefly upon inscriptions and monumental remains in that country. With 30 reproductions of original drawings by the author, and two maps
An archaeological history of Rome's North African provinces written and illustrated by the architect Alexander Graham, published in London by Longmans, Green in 1902 for antiquarians and classical scholars. The thirty plates reproduce his own drawings of ruined aqueducts, temple porticoes, amphitheatre walls and desert townscapes in warm sepia halftone, useful for masonry textures, arcade rhythms and low-horizon ruin silhouettes.
