Roman and medieval art
An illustrated survey of Roman and medieval architecture and sculpture by William Henry Goodyear, published 1893 in Meadville and New York by Flood and Vincent for Chautauqua home-study readers. The 158 halftones are coarse-screened photographs of temple facades, colonnaded church interiors, apse mosaics and carved capitals, useful for grainy architectural texture, column and arcade silhouettes, and deep one-point perspectives.
