Roodscreens and roodlofts
A two-volume antiquarian survey of English and Welsh church screens by architect Frederick Bligh Bond and Benedictine writer Bede Camm, published in London by Pitman in 1909 for architects, clergy and ecclesiologists. Line drawings, measured elevations and halftone photographs record traceried screen bays, vaulted lofts, carved cresting and painted panel saints, supplying repeatable Gothic tracery units, crocketed finials and interior perspectives.
