Rough stone monuments and their builders
An archaeological survey of megalithic sites—dolmens, cairns, stone circles, chambered tombs—written by Egyptologist T. Eric Peet and published by Harper & Brothers in London and New York in 1912 for general readers. The line drawings give plans and elevations of dry-stone walling, passage graves and burial chambers, reducing boulders to outlined blocks: usable as texture fills, diagram motifs and north-arrow plan graphics.
