Graves, Algernon · 1905 · London : H. Graves and co., ltd. [etc.] · 3 pictures

A multi-volume reference dictionary compiled by Algernon Graves, published in London from 1905, listing every contributor to Royal Academy exhibitions between 1769 and 1904 for dealers, collectors and art historians. Apart from mezzotint-style portrait plates of painters, the decoration is Renaissance-revival woodcut: a headpiece band of putti boating, painting and piping among vine scrolls, and foliate initials with berry clusters.
