A photographic survey of the Royal Palace in Madrid by the Conde de las Navas, published by Thomas of Barcelona in 1900 for visitors and students of palace architecture and decoration. Halftone plates show state rooms in raking light: ceiling frescoes, chandeliers, porcelain and carved wall panels, mirrors with putti, patterned floors and drapery, usable as ornament and interior reference.
