Royal Tailors junior sample book, The
A 1916 swatch catalogue issued by The Royal Tailors of Chicago to sell made-to-measure suits and overcoats for boys and young men, distributed to salesmen and customers. Each page reproduces a single cloth sample photographed inside an engraved silver-toned frame with floral corner spandrels, a ruled caption panel giving fabric number and description, and a small lion device on a banner reading Made to Measure; useful for ornamental frames, textile textures, checks and stripes, and period label typography.
