A 1917 trade catalogue issued by the Klearfax Linen Rug Co. of West Duluth, Minnesota, to show retailers and decorators its linen rug lines and available colorways. The plates are photographic swatches of whole rugs, fringed at both ends, printed in flat solid greens, browns and mottled heathered tones \u2014 useful as ready-made texture fills, muted color chips, and simple bordered rectangles.
