Rural planning and development; a study of rural conditions and problems in Canada
A 1917 government report by Thomas Adams for Canada's Commission of Conservation, surveying rural land settlement, roads and town planning for administrators and surveyors. Its plates are line-drawn cadastral plans: long narrow river lots, grid subdivisions with street names, fan-shaped radial layouts and inset legend boxes, useful for hatching patterns, map typography and abstract linear compositions.
