A French mathematics and astronomy review journal, issued in Paris by Gauthier-Villars from 1870 under the Ministère de l'éducation nationale for academic mathematicians. The plates are line diagrams printed with text: lettered circles and triangles, tangent constructions, hatched polygons in projection, and a cone with dashed ellipse — useful as sparse geometric line art, labelled point notation, and engraved hatching textures.
