An art-topographical guide to Saint Petersburg by the French art historian Louis Réau, published in Paris by H. Laurens in 1913 for French readers and travellers. Halftone photographs record baroque and neoclassical facades, triumphal arches, palace courtyards and ironwork railings in flat grey tones, useful for architectural ornament, cast-iron grille patterns and empty street perspectives.
