A German collection of practical essays and reports on building, issued in Berlin by Johann Friedrich Unger in 1797 for architects, masons and state building officials. The engraved plates are fine-line technical drawings: numbered figures of roof trusses, chimney and stove flues in section, brick arches with construction geometry, and a long elevation of an arcaded stone bridge, with dotted setting-out lines, hatched masonry and ruled scale bars that can be lifted as diagram vocabulary.
