School supplies.
A trade catalogue of school supplies issued by W.A. Choate & Co. of Albany, New York, in 1890, aimed at school boards, superintendents, and teachers ordering classroom equipment. The wood-engraved cuts show desks, benches, and teachers' tables in three-quarter view, with plank grain and cast-iron scroll frames drawn in fine hatching against blank grounds, usable as isolated furniture silhouettes or ornamental ironwork patterns.
