School tactics and maze running
A 1916 physical-education manual from the American Sports Publishing Co. in New York, written by C. Ward Crampton with Emanuel Haug and Montague Gammon and edited by Luther Gulick, instructing teachers in school marching drills and maze-running games. The plates are diagrams: thick serpentine maze paths, ranks of small T-shaped figure marks numbered in rows, and curving arrows tracing column movements across the page.
