Sciography : or, Radical projection of shadows
A drawing manual on the geometric construction of cast shadows, written by R. Campbell Puckett and published by Chapman & Hall in London in 1868 for art and architecture students. Numbered plates show blocks, steps, columns and cones in perspective, built from circles, vanishing points and long ruled construction lines, with shadows laid in flat grey wash over pale paper.
