The Scioto Buggy Co., wholesale manufacturers for the trade
A wholesale trade catalogue issued in 1890 by the Scioto Buggy Co. of Columbus, Ohio, to show carriage dealers and retailers the season's vehicle line. The plates are wood-engraved side elevations of buggies, surreys and phaetons drawn on blank grounds, with fine-line spoked wheels, canopy and fringed tops, tufted upholstery and curved spring gear that lift cleanly as silhouettes or line ornament.
