Selection of vases, statues, busts, &c., from terra-cottas. / by J. M. Blashfield.
A trade catalogue of terra-cotta garden and architectural ware issued by the manufacturer John Marriott Blashfield and published by John Weale in London in 1857, aimed at architects, builders and estate owners choosing ornament from stock. The plates are outline and light-hatched engravings of urns, tazzas, pedestals, busts and fountain basins shown in elevation against blank grounds, offering clean profile silhouettes, acanthus and gadroon borders, Greek key bands and laurel wreaths that cut out easily for use as motifs or spot ornament.
