A two-volume set of Greek topographical views drawn by the Scottish painter Hugh William Williams, engraved on steel and issued in London and Edinburgh in 1829 for classically educated travellers and antiquarians. Plates pair wide hazy skies with dark foreground rocks and foliage, ruined temples and citadels on distant hills, and small figure groups — useful for atmospheric tonal gradients and silhouetted landscape framing.
