Senlis
A French architectural monograph on Senlis and its cathedral by art historian Marcel Aubert, published in Paris by H. Laurens in 1922 for students of medieval church architecture. Halftone photographs record Gothic and Romanesque exteriors, carved portals, apse chapels, towers and bare vaulted interiors, offering designers grainy stone texture, tracery patterns and stark silhouettes against blank skies.
