Série des colonnes
An architectural treatise on the classical column orders written by the Dijon architect Pierre-Joseph Antoine and printed in 1782 by Louis-Nicolas Frantin for builders, patrons, and students of architecture. The scanned plates here are the binding's marbled papers: combed and swirled patterns in brick red, ochre, slate blue, and cream, with drop-like white spots, usable as tiling endpaper textures, cover stock, or period backgrounds.
