A series of picturesque views of seats of the noblemen and gentlemen of Great Britain and Ireland. With descriptive and historical letterpress
A six-volume Victorian survey of British and Irish country houses, written by Francis Orpen Morris with chromolithographs drawn by Alexander Francis Lydon and printed by Benjamin Fawcett at Driffield, issued in London by William Mackenzie in 1880 for landed subscribers. Each plate sets a mansion in lawn, parkland and cloud, printed in soft greens and blues: usable for architectural elevations, tree masses, and wide skies.
