Benzidinfarben auf Baumwollstückware
A dye sample book issued in 1901 by Farbenfabriken vorm. Friedrich Bayer & Co. of Elberfeld, showing benzidine dyes on cotton piece goods for mill dyers and textile buyers. Each page carries rows of three dyed cloth swatches at rising concentrations beside German, English and French dye names and numbered plate references, giving graded blues, browns, maroons and olives with visible weave texture usable as palette sources or grid layouts.
