National Dyes for Union Materials
A 1917 trade sample book issued by the National Aniline and Chemical Company of New York for textile dyers and mill buyers, grouping direct dyes by how they take on cotton versus wool. Each page mounts pairs of pinked cloth swatches at two dye strengths, captioned with product names and percentages — a ready source of period color pairs, woven textures, and tabular label layouts.
