A dyers' sample book issued in 1927 by I. G. Farbenindustrie Aktiengesellschaft and its American agent, the General Dyestuff Corporation, to show textile mills and colourists the range of Naphtol AS azoic dyes on rayon. Each page mounts rows of dyed rayon skeins against letterpress tables of dye names, coupling components and gram-per-litre quantities, offering graded reds, scarlets, garnets, bordeaux and magentas plus ruled grid layouts and centred trade addresses.
