Dress, Blouse, and Costume Cloths, Design and Fabric Manufacture
A technical manual on woven cloth design and manufacture by Roberts Beaumont and Walter George Hill, published by Pitman in London in 1921 for textile students, mill designers and manufacturers. Plates are close-up photographs of fabric and yarn specimens — plaid and checked grounds, velvet-pile figures, striped yarn charts keyed with letters and numbers — usable as woven textures, tartan patterns and diagram overlays.
