The Palatine Fast Dyestuffs

General Aniline & Film Corporation, General Dyestuff Corporation · 1920 · 11 pictures

A wool shade card issued around 1920 by the General Dyestuff Corporation, US agent for the German I.G. Farben combine, and printed in Germany for mill dyers and textile buyers. Each page mounts rows of dyed wool yarn skeins in tight bows against tan card stock, captioned with letterpress dye names and percentage recipes, giving designers ready-made color runs, grid layouts of swatches, and small technical type.
