A May 1924 issue of the trade monthly Dyestuffs, issued by the National Aniline Division of the Allied Chemical & Dye Corporation for dyers, tanners and textile mill operators. Halftone photographs show tannery interiors: chrome tanning drums, pickle paddle vats, tiled floors, overhead pipe runs and a painted DANGER sign, alongside a shaded drawing of skin dressing by Native Americans.
