Color and its Applications
A 1915 technical treatise on color science and its industrial uses, written by illumination engineer Matthew Luckiesh for D. Van Nostrand in New York and aimed at lighting specialists, manufacturers, and students of vision. Color plates show gridded chips of gray, magenta, and teal on contrasting grounds, labeled prismatic and diffraction spectra, and paired landscape photographs comparing daylight with artificial light.
