Greene Family Account Book
A handwritten family account and dye record kept in a lined ledger in 1855, used to log textile dyeing trials with samples of the finished cloth attached to the pages. The pages pair faint pencil script with pasted rectangles of near-black wool, giving high-contrast blocks on aged ruled paper, frayed edges, pin holes and stains usable as texture, layout grid or collage element.
