Echtheits - Tabellen der Substantiven Baumwollfarbstoffe
A dyers' fastness-table sample book issued in 1900 by Farbenfabriken vorm. Friedrich Bayer & Co. of Elberfeld, made for cotton mills and colourists testing substantive dyes. Each page sets a ruled German letterpress table against a column of dyed cloth swatches — magentas, oxblood, ochre, olive, brown — giving designers real pigment chips, tabular grids, and period trade-name typography.
