Shipbuilding from its beginnings
A three-volume technical survey of ship construction and rigging compiled by Emile van Konijnenburg for the Permanent International Association of Navigation Congresses, published in Brussels in 1913 for engineers and naval historians. The plates are halftone reproductions of older prints and drawings, showing sailing hulls, masts and rigging lines in profile against flat grey sky and water, usable as silhouettes and line diagrams.
