Shipbuilding from its beginnings
A trilingual survey of shipbuilding history by Emile van Konijnenburg, issued in Brussels in 1913 by the Permanent International Association of Navigation Congresses for engineers and maritime scholars. Colour-lithographed maps chart Dutch waterways, ship types and dialect regions in flat pastel zones with numbered keys, alongside yellow-and-black decorated initials framing sails and foliage; useful for map fills and ornamental letterforms.
