The shores of the Adriatic, the Austrian side : the Küstenlande, Istria, and Dalmatia
An 1908 illustrated travel and architecture account of the Austrian Adriatic coast — Istria, Dalmatia and the Küstenlande — written and drawn by the English painter and teacher F. Hamilton Jackson for Murray's British reading public. The pen drawings record stone streets, arcaded courtyards, carved portals and Venetian window tracery in dense crosshatched line, useful for masonry texture, architectural detail and townscape framing.
