Simple rules and problems in navigation
A 1920 navigation manual by Charles Hurst Cugle and Bradley Jones, published in New York by E. P. Dutton for merchant marine officers and students learning position-finding at sea. The plates are line diagrams: compass roses with east-west deviation signs, circles divided by chords and radii with lettered points, and Mercator chart grids carrying hand-lettered bearing lines and fixes.
