Singing games
A children's songbook of singing games, with verses by Josephine Pollard and illustrations and musical settings by F. Schuyler Mathews, published by McLoughlin Bros. in New York in 1890 for young players and their families. Colour-printed line drawings show children in smocks, sashes and bonnets circling, joining hands and kneeling, set beside engraved staves, ribbon scrolls and garlanded borders.
