Proceedings of the mathematical-natural sciences class of the Imperial Academy of Sciences in Vienna, printed by the imperial state press in 1852 for scientists and learned societies. Lithographed plates combine geometric constructions of circles and ellipses in fine ruled line with shaded natural-history studies of gastropod shells, offering numbered figure layouts, dense compass-arc webs, and tonal spiral forms.
