The skies and the earth
A popular astronomy and geology primer published by Doubleday, Page in New York in 1902 for general readers and students. The line engravings show volcanic cones, craters, lava flows and cutaway sections of vents, drawn in fine hatching and stipple on cream paper, useful as small diagrammatic landscape motifs or cross-section templates.
