Sleights; being a number of incidental effects, tricks, sleights, moves and passes, for purposes ranging from impromptu to platform performances
A 1914 instructional manual of conjuring sleights by Burling Hull, issued in New York by the American Magic Corporation for amateur and platform magicians. Halftone photographs isolate hands palming coins, thimbles and cones against dark grounds, alongside pen drawings of a tuxedoed performer wrapped in ribbon; useful for cut-out hand gestures, sequence grids and stage-magic vignettes.
