The Slipstream
An American aviation trade monthly begun in 1919 by the Slipstream Publishing Company of Dayton, Ohio, written for military and commercial fliers, mechanics, and the aircraft industry. Halftone photographs printed on newsprint show biplanes in flight against blank sky, parked monoplanes with tail markings, close views of landing gear and struts, and experimental funnel-shaped rotorcraft, useful for coarse-screen grain, silhouetted airframes, and columns of period body type.
