Some modern conjuring; a series of original experiments in the magic art
A 1909 self-published handbook of original stage-magic experiments by Donald Holmes, written for working conjurers who built their own apparatus. The plates are plain line diagrams in black ink: cutaway boxes, hatched compartments, hinged flaps and circular plan views, each part tagged with a serif capital letter, useful as ready-made technical schematics or lettered patent-style marks.
