A sale catalogue of the drawings collection of Pierre Crozat, compiled and published in Paris in 1741 by the print dealer and connoisseur Pierre-Jean Mariette for collectors and dealers of Italian, Flemish and French old master drawings. The pictures indexed here are the binding's hand-marbled papers: combed peacock and nonpareil patterns in brick red, ochre, pale blue and cream, useful as tiling endpaper textures, cover stock, or period-accurate decorative fills.
