Mackenzie, Frederick, 1787 or 8-1854, Pugin, Augustus, 1762-1832 · 1825 · London, J. Taylor · 61 pictures

A measured-drawing survey of Gothic detail by Frederick Mackenzie and Augustus Pugin, published by J. Taylor in London in 1825 for architects, builders and students copying medieval work at Oxford, Cambridge and elsewhere. The plates are line engravings of windows, doors, buttresses and pinnacles in elevation and section, with scale bars, moulding profiles and engraved captions, giving designers clean tracery patterns, cusped arch outlines and repeatable ornament sections.
