Inside Out Library

Specimens of Gothic architecture; selected from various antient[!] edifices in England: consisting of plans, elevations, sections, and parts at large ... accompanied by historical and descriptive accounts

Pugin, Augustus, 1762-1832, Willson, Edward James, 1787-1854 · 1823 · London, Taylor · 156 pictures

A measured-drawing survey of English medieval buildings by Augustus Pugin with historical text by Edward James Willson, published in London by Taylor in 1823 for architects, builders and antiquarian readers. The plates are fine outline engravings — plans, elevations, sections and full-size profiles of tracery, panelling, mouldings and vaulting, annotated with dimension lines and often ranged in grids on a blank page — useful for line ornament, repeat panel patterns and technical-drawing layouts.
