Spring & summer fashion catalogue.
A seasonal retail fashion catalogue issued by the New York department store H. O'Neill & Co. in 1898, showing garments and dry goods to mail-order and city customers. The illustrations are small wood-engraved product cuts drawn in fine line and hatching on blank grounds: scalloped-edge collars, embroidered handkerchiefs, puffed-sleeve blouses and children's coats, useful as isolated cut-out silhouettes, edging and floral motifs, and drapery-shading reference.
