A spring supplement to the wholesale trade catalogue of the Indianapolis Chair Manufacturing Co., issued in Indianapolis in 1890 for furniture dealers and retail buyers. Wood-engraved chairs and rockers stand isolated on blank grounds, each drawn in fine hatching that records turned spindles, carved splats, cane seats and patterned upholstery, giving designers clean cut-out silhouettes and a vocabulary of turning and ornament profiles.
