Stability in aviation : an introduction to dynamical stability as applied to the motions of aeroplanes
A 1911 Macmillan technical treatise by mathematician G. H. Bryan, written in London for aeronautical engineers and students working out the dynamical stability of early aeroplanes. The plates are spare line diagrams: labelled axes, Greek angle notation, circles with radii, and skeletal wing-and-tailplane schematics, useful as ready-made vector figures, axis notation, and abstract geometric marks.
