Stage illusions and entertainments
A 1923 Cassell handbook from London instructing amateur performers and stage crews in building illusions, puppet theatres, and conjuring apparatus. The plates are line diagrams of timber frames, panels, screw eyes, pulleys and cords, labelled with capital letters and dimensions, often several numbered figures to a page — usable as technical linework, exploded plan arrangements, or captioned figure blocks.
