A treatise on the statics of buildings written by Vincenzo Lamberti and published in Naples in 1781 for architects, engineers and masons concerned with arches, vaults and thrust. The folding plates carry numbered figures in fine engraved line: semicircular and segmental arches divided into voussoirs, radiating thrust lines from a single point, lettered construction points, plans with hatched piers, and a concentric spiral, all usable as sparse geometric line art, diagram frames or figure-label systems.
