St. James Hotel - two blocks from C.P.R. Depot, opposite G.T.R. depot
A 1905 promotional booklet for Montreal's St. James Hotel, issued anonymously in the city to attract rail travellers arriving at the nearby C.P.R. and G.T.R. depots. Coarse halftone photographs show the hotel's dining room and interiors alongside city sights — Place d'Armes, the Château de Ramezay, reservoirs and tree-lined streets — usable as dot-screen textures, period interior furnishings, and captioned photographic plates.
