St. Nicholas book of plays & operettas
A collection of children's plays and operettas gathered from St. Nicholas magazine, issued by The Century Co. in New York in 1900 for young amateur performers and the adults staging them. Pen-and-ink figure drawings show fairies, costumed children and stage business in clean outline with stippled shading and flat black masses, useful for costume silhouettes and spot illustration.
